Cultural packageLeipzig

Leipzig is a modern and vibrant city where many fairs, concerts, congresses are held and where trade is conducted. Culture, sports, night life and shopping are fun too.

During a guided city walk, we want you to discover the different aspects of the City of Leipzig: a world class music destination (Bach, Mendelsohn, St. Thomas Boys Choir, the Opera House, the Concert Hall), an exhibition centre (Book Fair) or the city of the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 to give just some examples.

During a guided tour in the Forum of Contemporary History, a place of vivid memory, you will become familiarised with German history after the Second World War.

Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to visit the Monument of the Battle of the Nations. For those of you who are interested, Leipzig also offers an impressive zoo where you can spend all day.

Please bring something to drink, sturdy shoes and an umbrella!
