Autumn course from 07th September to 02nd October 2020

Course: German language, regional and cultural studies

Courses (A1 to B1) are intensive courses for beginners and participants with little knowledge of German. Course (B2) is for advanced participants. Course (C1) is for very advanced participants and experts (C1). Course groups are divided according to knowledge of the participants is done  after evaluation of the entry level tests. The entry level test will take place on the day of arrival at 12 noon.

The course fees include course-integrated day trips in the surrounding areas of Dresden and a registration fee of €100 which will  not be refunded in case of cancellation.

Courses

  • Entry level test at the beginning of the course
  • Small groups (approximately 12 to 15 participants) with different language levels (from level A1 to C1)
  • Intensive German studies:
    • Language course (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
    • Phonetics/Grammar
    • Project work
  • Final certificate and time sheet

Regional and cultural studies as well as a cultural programme

  • Regional and cultural studies programme:
    • Guided city walk: historic city centre - new town
    • Visits to museums: German Museum of Hygiene, Military History Museum, Volkswagen Factory
    • Historical sights: Dresden Castle, Dresden Panometer, Pillnitz Castle and Park
  • Festive welcome and farewell party
  • A full  day trip during the weekend
  • Various cultural and leisure time activities, e.g. round table, talk/s and presentation/s about different countries in the afternoon
  • Support given by student tutors
  • Additional activities cost extra, e.g. hiking tours in Saxon Switzerland, day trips to Leipzig, Meißen or Freiberg

Die Internationalen Sommerkurse starten ab dem 17.06.2019

Ab dem 17.06.2019 beginnen die Internationalen Sommerkurse. Wir freuen uns darauf, Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt zu begrüßen.

Die Termine für die Internationalen Winter- und Frühlingskurse 2020 sind online.

Am Vormittag wird Deutsch gelernt und am Nachmittag haben die Teilnehmer die Möglichkeit die Stadt Dresden, ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Umgebung kennen zu lernen.
